Visit Melbourne Zoo

A family favourite outing, the Melbourne Zoo is home to over 320 animal species from around the world, including lions, tigers, elephants, and gorillas. Visitors can explore various exhibits, such as the Australian Bush, Trail of the Elephants, and Lemur Island. The zoo also offers behind-the-scenes tours, close-up animal encounters, and daily talks and demonstrations. Kids will love seeing a variety of animals up close, from majestic big cats to playful primates. They can learn about the animals’ habitats and conservation efforts, and even have the opportunity to feed and interact with some of the animals.

Scienceworks

Scienceworks is a hands-on museum where kids can learn about science and technology in a fun and interactive way. Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium

The SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium is home to thousands of marine animals. Kids will be amazed by the variety of marine life on display, from colourful coral reefs to fearsome sharks. ArtVo

ArtVo is a unique art museum where kids become part of the artwork! Visitors can immerse themselves in 3D paintings, take silly photos and create their own optical illusions, making for a memorable and Instagram-worthy experience for big and small kids alike. The museum features over 100 hand-painted artworks that create optical illusions and 3D effects. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the art and become part of the scene.

Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG)

If you have kids who are sports fans or aspiring athletes, they might enjoy a visit to the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
