A family favourite outing, the Melbourne Zoo is home to over 320 animal species from around the world, including lions, tigers, elephants, and gorillas. Visitors can explore various exhibits, such as the Australian Bush, Trail of the Elephants, and Lemur Island. The zoo also offers behind-the-scenes tours, close-up animal encounters, and daily talks and demonstrations. Kids will love seeing a variety of animals up close, from majestic big cats to playful primates.
