YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS OF USE WHEN YOU BROWSE OUR SITE AND USE OUR SERVICES. YOU WILL WAIVE CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO SUE OR CLAIM COMPENSATION IN CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. READ THIS DOCUMENT CAREFULLY.
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) set forth the terms and conditions under which individuals residing in Australia may use the Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) Site and/or the Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) Services (described below).
- Please read these Terms before using the Site or the Services. By using the Site or the Services, you hereby represent, warrant, understand, agree to and accept these Terms in their entirety whether or not you register as a user of the Site or Services (“Registered Users”).
- These Terms incorporate by reference the Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) Data Privacy and Use Policy (“Data Policy”) and all other policies, rules and terms and conditions as set forth in Service materials, either in print or on our Site (collectively, the “Policies”). If you object to anything in these Terms, the Data Policy or the other Policies do not use the Site or the Services.
- These Terms, including the Data Policy and the other Policies, are subject to change by Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) at any time. We will notify you about significant changes in these Terms by sending a notice to the email address registered in your account, or by placing a prominent notice on our Site, so that you can choose whether to continue using our Services. Significant changes will go into effect no less than 30 days after we notify you. Non-material changes or clarifications will take effect immediately upon posting of the updated terms on our Site. You should periodically check Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) for updates. Your continued use of the Site or the Services after the effective date of any change will constitute acceptance by you of such changes.
For purposes of these Terms, the “Site” shall mean the Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) website and any Australian affiliated websites, web pages, mobile applications, and mobile websites operated by Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) Australia PTY Limited, a corporation incorporated in Australia (“Mums Village Coast to Coast”). The “Services” shall mean any of the various services that Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) provides through the Site or any other channels, including over the telephone.
At Mums Village Coast to Coast we are more than a cleaner. We currently offer our signature Home Reset and our Home PRE-sets to clients from the Sutherland Shire to Kiama in NSW, and the Mornington Peninsula in VIC.
In a typical Home Reset, our aim is to get as much done in as little time as possible to help support busy parents with the never ending chores. We change beds, do laundry, clean dishes, tidy surfaces, tidy rooms, complete a full home clean and support home organizing over time. In addition, you can ask additional extras onto your reset like deep cleaning, blinds, additional loads of laundry (only two are included in a standard reset).
Our Home PRE-sets go above and beyond and may be required if a home has not been professional or deep cleaned in some time.
What’s included:
- Home blitz and clean
- Fresh linen on all beds
- 2 loads of sheets/towels washed and hung out/in dryer
- Dishwasher emptied/dishes done
- Kitchen tidied & cleaned
- Bathrooms cleaned
- Living areas & bedrooms tidied
- Floors cleaned
- Clean laundry folded & put away *
Weekly Home Reset Service Extra Inclusions:
- New Weekly Home Reset Packages will be effective from 1 October 2023
- Once you’ve banked 5 hours of home organisation credit, you can cash in a decluttering or organisation job in your home of your choosing. You may not book in any decluttering or organising service until you have banked up 5 hours of credit, which is 5 months. Decluttering/organisation jobs will attract a travel fee between $30-$75.
- Weekly clients are eligible to receive 1X luxury candle or diffuser every quarter, starting one month after they have received their weekly service starting from 1 October 2023.
- Luxury Mums Village Coast to Coast diffusers and candles will not be available until 15 October 2023 at the very earliest.
Our support services can be delivered on a tailored, personalised basis due to the needs of individual families. However, there are a number of normal tasks included in our signature Home Reset which you can find below. Our additional services available include but are not limited to:
- Excess Laundry management (additional washing/drying/folding/ironing / putting away)
- Home organising (wardrobes, drawers, kitchen cupboards, linen closets and more)
While each interaction between a our helpers and a family is unique and tailored, there are a few things you can expect when you join Mums Village.
You can expect:

We are committed to helping your entire family. We believe when a parent has less things ‘to do’ they can be a better parent, partner and person.
By joining, you are committing to being open to letting Mums Village into your home and allowing us to lighten your load in whatever way we can.
Our team is committed to providing support and loving care that is free from judgement, opinion and social chatter. Any personal beliefs, issues or past experiences will be left at the door before entering your home.
Your family and your home will always be the number one priority during our visit
To be eligible to use our Services, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be eighteen (18) years of age or older and have the capacity to form legally binding contracts under applicable law. If you are not eighteen (18) years of age or older do not register to use the Site or Services.
- You must reside in a postal code region in which Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) currently offers the Services.
- If you are a Client, you must be a citizen or legal resident of Australia or hold a valid Australian visa.
- If you are a Helper, you must be a citizen or legal resident of Australia or hold a valid Australian visa entitling you to work in Australia, and you must have the experience, training, qualifications, and authorisations required by law or otherwise for the positions for which you apply. If you are a Helper and not legally entitled to work in Australia do not register to use the site or services.
- You must not be an owner or work for, a competitor of Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) and use our Services for reasons that are in competition with Mums Village Coast to Coast.
By requesting to use, registering to use, and/or using the Site or the Services, you represent and warrant that you have the right, authority, and capacity to enter into these Terms and you commit to abide by all of the terms and conditions hereof.
Because of the type of help services, the setting of the help Services, and the nature of the relationship between Helper and Client, you represent and warrant that you (i) have never been the subject of a complaint, restraining order or any other legal action involving, arrested for, charged with, or convicted of any criminal offense involving violence, abuse, neglect, theft or fraud, or any offense that involves endangering the safety of others, dishonesty, or negligence.
Mums Village Coast to Coast has Work Health and Safety procedures in place to protect our helpers. As a customer, you are however responsible to provide a safe and healthy work environment at the premises on the day of service. Our Helpers are instructed to not to enter an environment if it is considered to be unsafe. I.e clear pathways, doorways & stairs. If your possessions pose a risk, i.e items piled too high or items causing trip hazards, or any other reasonable health or safety concern the Helper is within their rights not to continue the Service on the day.
Our Helpers are instructed not to climb or stand on ladders, stools or any other objects. If you require additional tasks e.g. cleaning behind, under and sides of fridges, washing machines, couches or any other heavy items; you will need to arrange for moving items prior to cleaning. Mums Village Coast to Coast will not be held responsible for damage to floors, including polished timber floors caused by the moving of furniture for the purpose of cleaning. You will also need to advise us of any known hazards, slippery surfaces, risks or dangers at the premises prior to the service. If our cleaners are unable to clean some or all parts of your home due to this we will let you know. You may not be eligible for a refund in the event you fail to provide a safe working environment for our cleaner.
INFECTIOUS DISEASE CLAUSE:
If anyone within your household has suffered a viral or bacterial illness (i.e. flu, civic, gastro) our staff cannot enter until 48 hours after the last symptom. We ask that all areas (i.e. toilet after gastro) are disinfected prior to you Home Reset or Home PRE-set. Any visible biohazards (i.e. vomit or faeces) will deem the house unsafe for cleaning. This includes animal waste.
You may cancel your subscription and account at any time by sending an e-mail to Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) at support@mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au, provided two weeks notice is given for any scheduled Services.
Should Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) determine that you are not eligible to use the Services, have violated any terms stated herein or in any of the Policies, are not suitable for participation as a Registered User, or have misused or misappropriated Site content, including but not limited to, use on a “mirrored”, competitive, or third-party site, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately terminate your access to all or part of the Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) Site, to remove your profile and/or any content posted by or about you, from the Site, and/or to terminate your registration in Mums Village Coast to Coast, with or without notice.
Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of the Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) service offerings for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. If we terminate your access to services, we have no obligation to notify you of the reason, if any, for your termination.
Following any termination of any individual’s use of our Services, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) reserves the right, subject to applicable privacy laws, to send a notice thereof to other Registered Users with whom we believe the individual has corresponded.
In order to utilise Mums Village Coast to Coast’s services, Clients must pay for their services in advance of service for one-off Home Resets / PRE-sets. Regular Clients are charged the day of service. If full payment is not successfully taken in advance of service delivery, or on the day of service, Mums Village Coast to Coast reserves the right to cancel the service appointment and reschedule until successful payment has been completed.
A late fee of 1% of the total outstanding amount will be payable if payment has not been deposited into Mums Village Coast to Coast bank account within 48 hours of the delivered Home Reset Service. An additional late fee of 1% will be charged every 7 days accrued of the outstanding payment.
In addition, the Client needs to respond to the pre-visit communication to confirm the correct address, easy access to home, and to provide any special instructions.
It is the responsibility of the client to ensure the correct address is given. Failure to do so, where a Helper attends the incorrect address, will result in 75% of the fee being charged.
Additionally, access to the home is essential. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure access at the time of their agreed Home Reset.
If our Helpers are unable to enter the property, for example a key was not left out, Helpers will leave after 15 minutes and 75% of the fee will be charged.
4.1 Regular Reset bookings
By selecting a regular Home Reset subscription, Clients will receive a discount for fortnightly cleans (5%) and weekly cleans (10%).
PRE-VISIT CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Prior to any service visit from Mums Village Coast to Coast, it is the responsibility of the Client to:
- Pay for the service in full before first visits
- Provide the correct and most up to date address
- Provide clear and easy home access for Helper
- Provide clear, written instructions to Mums Village Coast to Coast’s head office (support@mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) of any special instructions or circumstances
- Leave out full set of linen on beds they wish to have linens changed. If this is not available, Helpers will remake beds with the existing linen.
If any of these conditions are not met, Mums Village reserves the right to charge fees as per our policies.
Additionally, our Helpers may be unable to fulfill the Home Reset as planned.
POST VISIT CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Following any service visit from Mums Village Coast to Coast, it is the responsibility of the Client to:
- Advise Mums Village Coast to Coast’s head office directly at support@mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au of any issues with the service delivery within 24 hours of the visit in order to be covered by Mums Village Coast to Coast’s insurance.
- Should the Client wait longer than 24 hours or take issue directly to the Helper, the Client issue will not be covered under Mums Village Coast to Coast’s insurance.
CLIENT COMMUNICATION
Mums Village Coast to Coast utilises a core set of communication channels to share and gather information from the Client. The core communication channels are as follows:
- SMS
It is the Client’s responsibility to provide the best email address and mobile number that can be easily and regularly accessed to ensure to visit related information is missed. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure support@mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au is not marked as spam or junk and will enter their inbox. This email account is only used for essential appointment related communication.
In the instance that we are not able to receive a response related to a visit specific communication within two hours of the specific visit Mums Village Coast to Coast will reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the visit at the earliest convenience of both Helper and Client.
RESCHEDULING
Clients are able to reschedule their regular booking time slot if required, they simply need to email Mums Village Coast to Coast at support@mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au with 72 hours notice.
Cancellations / skips
Last minute cancellations (within 72 hours but before 48 hours) by Clients are charged a 25% admin fee. If it is within 24 hours the cancellation fee is 50%.
If you experience an emergency or illness, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss options. Charges will be at the discretion of Mums Village.
If Helpers are unable to attend an appointment last minute, the Clients will not be charged for the appointment and a make-up appointment will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience for both parties.
SERVICE PAUSE
If you wish to pause your Home Resets for an extended time, two weeks notice is required.
If more than two regular Home Resets are skipped, the discounted price (weekly or fortnightly discount) will be lost for the first returning Home Reset due to the increased workload.
GST
Our prices are inclusive of GST. This is in accordance to Australian Taxation Laws.
PRICE RISES
Mums Village Coast to Coast reserves the right to increase prices on a yearly basis in line with inflation, insurance and staffing cost changes.
LOCK OUTS
It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure access at the time of their agreed Home Reset.
If our Helpers are unable to enter the property, for example a key was not left out, 75% of the Home Reset will be charged.
4.2 Billing and Payment for Clients
Clients that sign up for a regular reset subscription agree to pay Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) all subscription charges associated with the plan they subscribe to as described on the Site at the time they subscribe and provide their payment information. Regular Clients authorise Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) to charge their chosen payment provider according to the terms of the plan to which they subscribe. The subscription period and the amount and frequency of the charges will vary depending on the plan the Client selects.
To the extent you elect to purchase other Services we may offer for a fee, you authorise Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) to charge your chosen payment provider for the Services you purchase. You agree that if Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) already has your credit card on file as a result of prior purchases you have made, we may charge that credit card for the additional services you purchase.
4.2 Automatic Subscription, Renewal, and Cancellation of Premium Memberships for Clients
Unless you explicitly decline automatic subscription renewals, your Home Reset subscription will continue indefinitely until cancelled by you. After your initial subscription commitment period, and again after any subsequent subscription period, your subscription will automatically renew for an additional equivalent period as the subscription term you originally selected and at the subscription rate currently being offered at the time of renewal.
4.3 Billing and Payment for Helpers
Certain Services and offerings made available to Helpers may require the payment of a fee by such Helpers as described herein or otherwise on the Site. To the extent you elect to purchase other chargeable Services and offerings, you authorise Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) to charge your chosen payment provider for the Services you purchase.
4.4 Refund Policy
To the extent permitted by law, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) does not provide refunds for purchase cancellations. However, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) may in its sole discretion issue refunds or credits when it believes they are warranted.
4.5 Deals and Offers
Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) may offer limited-time discounts on the first service of subscriptions to Clients from time-to-time. Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) reserves the right to end discount offers and codes without notice and has no responsibility to honour expired discount code offers.
5.1 No Warranty
The information and materials contained on the Site, including text, graphics, information, links, or other items are provided “as is”, “as available”. Further, opinions, advice, statements, offers, or other information or content made available through the Services, but not directly by Mums Village Coast to Coast, are those of their respective authors, and should not necessarily be relied upon. Such authors are solely responsible for such content.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) DOES NOT: (1) WARRANT THE ACCURACY, ADEQUACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THIS INFORMATION AND MATERIALS; (2) ADOPT, ENDORSE OR ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF ANY OPINION, ADVICE, OR STATEMENT MADE BY ANY PARTY OTHER THAN Mums Village Coast to Coast; (3) WARRANT THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES WILL BE SECURE, FREE FROM COMPUTER VIRUSES, UNINTERRUPTED, ALWAYS AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE OR WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS IN THE SERVICES WILL BE CORRECTED; OR (4) GIVE ANY WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS; (5) WARRANT THE SUITABILITY OF ANY REGISTERED USER OF OUR SITE TO PROVIDE SERVICES AS A HELP GIVER OR TO EMPLOY THE SERVICES OF A HELP GIVER. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) EXPRESSLY EXCLUDES ALL CONDITIONS, WARRANTIES, AND OTHER TERMS WHICH MIGHT OTHERWISE BE IMPLIED BY STATUTE, COMMON LAW, OR THE LAW OF EQUITY AND DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN THIS INFORMATION AND MATERIALS.
5.2. Assumption of Risk
YOU ARE AWARE THAT THERE ARE MANY RISKS AND DANGERS IN MAKING EMPLOYMENT AND HIRING DECISIONS FOR HELP SERVICES. THESE RISKS AND DANGERS INCLUDE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ABUSE, BODILY HARM, MENTAL DISTRESS AND THEFT, NEGLIGENCE OF OTHER USERS, AND THE FAILURE OF OTHERS TO TAKE REASONABLE STEPS TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT YOU FROM THE RISKS AND DANGERS.
YOU FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS AND DANGERS WHEN USING THE SITE AND THE SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ALL OF THE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH ANY ONLINE OR OFFLINE INTERACTIONS WITH REGISTERED USERS OF THE SITE OR THE SERVICES. YOU AGREE TO TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS WHEN INTERACTING WITH OTHER SITE VISITORS OR REGISTERED USERS.
5.3. Limitation of Liability
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS PURPORTS TO MODIFY OR EXCLUDE ANY CONDITION, WARRANTY, OR GUARANTEE THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER AUSTRALIAN LAW, INCLUDING THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW. TO THE EXTENT THAT ANY CONDITION, WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER AUSTRALIAN LAW, MUMS VILLAGE COAST TO COAST’S LIABILITY FOR BREACH OF SUCH CONDITION, WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE IS LIMITED (AT Mums Village Coast to Coast’S ELECTION) TO RE-SUPPLY OF THE RELEVANT SERVICES OR PAYMENT OF THE COST OF RE-SUPPLY OF THE RELEVANT SERVICES.
INDIRECT LOSSES AND AGGREGATE LIABILITY. To the extent permitted by law, in no event will Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) be liable, whether, in contract, tort (including negligence), statute, equity or otherwise, for any ”Indirect Losses” being a loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of reputation, loss of use and any damages, losses or expenses that may not fairly and reasonably be considered to arise directly and naturally, that is according to the usual course of things, from the breach or other wrongful act or omission relating to the Site, Services or these Terms giving rise to the relevant liability. Without limiting the foregoing, Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) has no liability for Indirect Losses arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the Site or Services, including without limitation damages related to any information received from the Site or Services, removal of content from the Site, including profile information, any email distributed to any user or any linked web site or use thereof or inability to use by any party, or in connection with any termination of your subscription or ability to access the Site or Services, failure of performance, error, omission, interruption, defect, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus or line or system failure, even if Mums Village Coast to Coast, or representatives thereof, are advised of the possibility of such damages, losses or expenses.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL MUMS VILLAGE COAST TO COAST’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, EQUITY OR OTHERWISE, IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE USE OF THE SERVICES OR THE SITE, EXCEED THE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, OR IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID Mums Village Coast to Coast (themumsvillage.com.au) FOR THE USE OF ANY SERVICES, THE AMOUNT OF $25.00 OR ITS EQUIVALENT.
NO LIABILITY FOR non-Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) ACTIONS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MUMS VILLAGE COAST TO COAST (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER DIRECT OR, INDIRECT LOSSES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SITE OR THE SERVICES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BODILY INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANYONE’S RELIANCE ON INFORMATION OR OTHER CONTENT POSTED ON THE SITE, OR TRANSMITTED TO OR BY ANY USERS OR ANY OTHER INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER REGISTERED USERS OF THE SITE OR SERVICES, WHETHER ONLINE OR OFFLINE. THIS INCLUDES ANY CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CONDUCT OF USERS WHO HAVE REGISTERED UNDER FALSE PRETENCES OR WHO ATTEMPT TO DEFRAUD OR HARM YOU.
In addition to the preceding paragraphs of this section and other provisions of these Terms, any advice that may be posted on the Site is for informational purposes only and is not intended to replace or substitute for any professional financial, medical, legal, or other advice. Mums Village Coast to Coast (mumsvillagecoasttocoast.com.au) makes no representations or warranties and expressly disclaims any and all liability concerning any treatment, action by, or effect on any person following the information offered or provided within or through the Site. If you have specific concerns or a situation arises in which you require professional financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice, you should consult with an appropriately trained and qualified specialist.
5.4. Indemnification

The invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability of any term or provision of these Terms shall in no way affect the validity, legality or enforceability of any other term or provision of these Terms. These Terms will be binding on and will insure to the benefit of the legal representatives, successors, and assigns of the parties hereto.
